World Championships in Athletics in Osaka

Lithuanian athletes will take part in the 11th IAAF World Championships in Athletics Osaka 2007 to be held from August 25th (Saturday) to September 2nd (Sunday), 2007 at Nagai Stadium in Osaka City.

Lithuanian team: twice Olympics Gold medalist, UNESCO Champion for Sport Virgilijus ALEKNA (discus throw), Zivile BALCIUNAITE (women marathon), Austra SKUJYTE (heptathlon), Indre JAKUBAITYTE (javeline throw), Sonata MILUSAUSKAITE (20 km race walking), Donatas SKARNULIS (50 km race walking).

We hope for the best results of our athletes!
