Visit of Ms. Aušrinė Armonaitė, Minister of Economy and Innovation

On October 4, a delegation, led by Ms. Aušrinė Armonaitė, the Minister of Economy and Innovation of Lithuiania, visited the Science and Technology in Society Forum in Kyoto, Japan.

Delegation held a meeting with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation to discuss NordicNinja 2, a new 200-million-euro fund for investments into start-ups, and its future activities in Lithuania. Minister Aušrinė Armonaitė also discussed cyber security with Japan's Minister of Digital Transformation, Taro Kono. Finally, at the JETRO event, Lithuania's achievements in the life sciences, information technologies and high value-added engineering sectors were presented to Japanese multinational corporations.

Delegation ended the visit by holding meetings with Keidanren, Panasonic and Hitachi, where Minister Aušrinė Armonaitė discussed Lithuanian investment and business opportunities for Japanese companies.
