Sakura trees started to blossom in Vilnius

  Sakura trees brought to Lithuania seven years ago in commemoration of the 100 years anniversary of the birth of the world-known Chiune Sugihara came into blossom in Vilnius this week.   The graceful sakura beauty can be observed at the right riverside of Neris (near the National Gallery), near the Presidential Palace, Gaon Jewish State Museum, at the courtyard of Sapiega hospital, Sugihara Street and at Vingis Park.
