RECOGNITION OF LITHUANIAN AIKIDO MASTERS IN TOKYO

On 30 May Mr. Egidijus Meilūnas, Lithuanian Ambassador to Japan, met the team of Lithuanian Aikido Aikikai Federation, led by its president Pranas Golovač, at the Embassy. Using this opportunity he thanked the Lithuanian athletes for raising awareness of the country and expressed satisfaction that cooperation between Lithuania and Japan grows continuously in all areas - from economic to the sport.
Japanese marshal art lovers from Lithuania were visiting Japan as they were invited to perform for the first time at this year’s All Japan Aikido Demonstration event which attracted by around ten thousand viewers. Lithuanian team was praised for a great performance by the Aikido specialists.
