Presentation of Lithuania and meetings in Hokkaido

On December 12, presentation of Lithuania was held at Sapporo Education and Culture Center. Participants and guests of traditional Japanese dance concert held at the Center visited stands with Lithuanian linen, amber, handicrafts and samples of Lithuanian food and beverages. Chargé d'Affaires Algimantas Misevičius greeted participants and with “Otowa ryu“ Japanese dance group discussed possibilities of cultural exchanges with Lithuania.
On December 13, Chargé d'Affaires Algimantas Misevičius met with Vice-Governor of Hokkaido Prefecture M. Uramoto, Vice-Mayor of Sapporo T. Machida and President of Hokkaido University Prof. K. Houkin. Strengthening of cultural, economic and academic ties with Lithuania was discussed at these meetings.
