OSAKA‘S ACQUAINTANCE WITH LITHUANIA IN IBARAKI
On 2 August the residents of Ibaraki in Osaka prefecture will have a possibility to know Lithuania better. The majority of guests probably will get their first opportunity to see Lithuanian handicrafts made of linen and other souvenirs such as UAB „RŪTA“ sweets that have already reached the Japanese market and can be found at the Lithuanian products store in Tokyo.
Lithuanian-speaking Koichi Sato, who currently lives in Lithuania and knows our country well, will introduce the culture of Lithuania to the residents of Ibaraki. He hopes that Japanese people will be impressed by all the Lithuanian products. Furthermore, this event may help people experience Lithuania, and will hopefully encourage visits to explore everything in real.
Various publications about Lithuania, provided by the Lithuanian Embassy in Japan, will be available during the presentation. The guests will be informed about the most exciting places to visit in Lithuania. More information on tourism opportunities in our country will be presented at the international tourism mart, which is planned to be held in Tokyo in September.
