Lithuanian team finished second at the Sapporo Snow Festival

A team of three Lithuanian sculptors from Kaunas city won the second prize at the 60th Sapporo Snow Festival, one of Japan's largest winter events, which took place on February 5-11. Congratulations! Their entry work named 'Glove' was surpassed only by the winning Thai sculpture. The sculptors Alfonsas Vaura, Simonas Šidlauskas ir Mindaugas Jurėnas carved a mouse with a glove, based on a folk tale about a mouse who found a glove and wanted to share it as a shelter with the other animals in the forest.
