Lithuanian musicians at Tokyo Tower Art 5th Festival

On July 25, Lithuanian musicians Žydrė Ovsiukaitė (violin) and Danielis Rubinas (bass) represented Lithuania at Tokyo Tower Art 5th Festival. They played Lithuanian music and, in a joint musical collaboration project, performed together with Japanese artists. Ambassador G. Varvuolis greeted the audience of the Festival along with K. Omori, President of Toshiba International Foundation, which sponsored the Festival.
The program of the Festival included music by J.Naujalis, Lithuanian folk songs harmonized by M.K. Čiurlionis and Lithuanian folk dances.
Participation of Lithuanian artists was sponsored by the Embassy of Lithuania.
