LITHUANIAN INTERIOR DESIGN AND LIFESTYLE PRODUCTS WERE PRESENTED IN TOKYO
On 5 June the Lithuanian Embassy in Tokyo held a special promotion event of the Lithuanian interior design, textiles and furniture companies, which presented their products at the "Made in Lithuania" pavilion in Interior Lifestyle Fair in Tokyo. The Japanese business partners had opportunity to learn more about Lithuanian products made of natural materials such as wool or linen, handmade leather bags, ceramics, original furniture and colorful interior decorations.
„We are very proud that the Lithuanian products have a reputation of being top-quality and exceptional design goods. We will do our best to promote our companies in Japanese market. We think they have a huge potential for growth“, - said Mr. Egidijus Meilūnas, Lithuanian Ambassador to Japan.
During the event Ms. Jurgita Butkevičienė, the director of Export Department at Enterprise Lithuania, introduced to the guests from Japanese business circles the economic trends and business environment in Lithuania.
Mr. Kenjiro Tamaki, the director of Japan Lithuania Exchange Centre, in his turn emphasised the importance to advertise Lithuanian high-quality production in Japan by participating in various exhibitions and organizing business events.
