Lithuanian Honorary Consul appointed in Osaka

During a ceremony held at the Embassy of Lithuania today, Mr. Takeo Obayashi was presented with a consular commission authorizing him to be Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Osaka within the consular district of Kinki, Chugoku, Shikoku and Kyushu regions.

Mr. Obayashi is the Director of Obayashi Corporation, the fourth biggest construction company in Japan. Established in 1892, it is a leading player on the global construction market, with subsidiaries in the United States, South Eastern Asia and Europe and operations worldwide.
