Lithuania Becomes the Presidency of the European Union Council
Lithuania is taking over the rotating six month EU Council Presidency on 1 July. Our Presidency's motto is "Focus Europe: credible, growing, open". Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Tokyo has in its turn started the presentatation program of Lithuania‘s culture in Japan which is planned to take place during the whole country‘s Presidency over the EU Council. The first event starting from the very 1 July – photo exhibition of Marius Jovaisa „Unseen Lithuania“ which will be held in the premices of the EU delegation in Tokyo until 12 July.
