Joint Exposition of Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian Unions of Architects in the International Exibition in Tokyo
On 25 September - 1 October the Congress of International Union of Architects (IUA) is held in Tokyo. Lithuanian Union of Architects is also taking part in it.
In the exibition, which is a part of the Congress, Lithuanians compose a common stand-intalation named GLOBE together with Latvians and Estonians, as in the UIA framework the unions of three countries participate under the name of the Baltic Architects Unions Association (BAUA).
This international event, which takes place every three years in different countries, attracts more than 10 000 architects, planners, scientists, students and other non-professional enthusiasts of architecture throughout the world.
The moto of the XXIVth Congress in Tokyo is "Design 2050".
