Hiroshima Peace Ceremony

On August 6, a solemn Hiroshima Peace Ceremony to mark the 76th anniversary of Hiroshima atomic bombing, took place. It was attended by Prime Minister of Japan Y. Suga, Speakers of both chambers of the Diet, members of the government and local authorities. Ambassador G.Varvuolis was invited to lay a wreath on behalf of the diplomatic community.

15 Lithuanian municipalities participate in Peace member cities and Mayors for Peace initiative by Hiroshima.
