February 16th was commemorated in Tokyo

February 16th, the National Day of Lithuania in Tokyo was celebrated together with friends of Lithuania in Japan, our neighbours Latvians and Estonians.

Participants of the festivities in Meguro Persimmon Hall were greeted by Ambassador Gediminas Varvuolis,and Chairman of Japan-Lithuania Diet League Hirofumi Nakasone. Opera “Chiune Sugihara. Sakuras of Hope” was performed and Lithuanian crafts and souvenirs were available.

The event was co-sponsored by Japan-Lithuania Friendship Association.
