Fascinating Performance of Baltic Guitar Quartet in Tokyo
Baltic Guitar Quartet gave a charming concert in Tokyo on February 16th, the National Day of Lithuania. Concert of the young Lithuanian ensemble was sincerely appreciated and followed by the big round of applause from the respectable audience. The audience included distinguished guests from the Parliament, Japanese governmental institutions, the representatives of media, cultural and business circles, foreign diplomatic missions in Tokyo. The Quartet performed the program “Journey Through Time: from Renaissance to Contemporary”. The music composed by the Lithuanian composers Jonas Tamulionis and Jurgis Juozapaitis were especially appreciated by the Japanese audience. The performance of Baltic Guitar Quartet continued the beautiful tradition of Lithuanian culture presentation on the National Day of Lithuanian in Tokyo.
