Embassy's Diplomats Met with Representatives of
On September 13, 2012 Charge d‘Affaires A. A. Dambrauskas and Second Secretary A. Slavinskaite had a meeting with the members of Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives), delegation of which is going to visit Lithuania on October 8, 2012. The main interest of this visit is to learn about Lithuania’s view on current situation in neighboring countries, its experience in bilateral trade relations and business perspectives in the country.
A. A. Dambrauskas gave a presentation, in which he reviewed history of Lithuania, recent developments in politics and economy, the energy strategy, specifically introducing the Visaginas NPP project, evaluation and expectations in the field of the cooperation between Lithuania and Japan in Eastern Europe. A. Slavinskaite presented Lithuanian IT sector and informed about a visit of Japanese journalists, dedicated to learn namely about this economic sector, to Vilnius on September 9-10.
