Christmas Event at the Embassy

On December 18, the Embassy warmly welcomed the Lithuanian community in Japan to celebrate the upcoming holidays. The youngest members took part in many fun activities, met a real Santa Claus and participated in the best Christmas tree decoration contest for the prizes awarded by Ambassador Aurelijus Zykas.

During the celebration, a special Christmas gift was presented - the first bundle of beginner-level books in Lithuanian, given to our youngest reader Leon. The initiative "Book Start" was first presented by the First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė and the Ministry of Culture with cooperation of the Lithuanian National Library Martynas Mažvydas.
