Chargé d‘Affaires Met with Australian Minister of Foreign Affaires

Australian Foreign Minister, Senator Bob Carr paid his first visit to Japan since he has taken this position. On May 17, 2012 at the Australian Embassy in Tokyo there was his meeting with the Heads of Missions in Japan accredited to Australia held. Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Lithuania A. A. Dambrauskas during the private conversation with H. E. Mr. Carr introduced the Lithuanian community in Australia, informed about the Embassy’s consular missions to Australia and discussed other current issues of bilateral relations.
Senator Bob Carr addressed the attending Heads of Missions with the speech in which he gave a positive remark in favour of seven thousand Lithuanians’ community in Australia and discussed bilateral relationships and security issues in Pacific and East Asia region.
