On June 10th Ambassador Gediminas Varvuolis gave an online lecture "Lithuanian Foreign Policy: A View from Vilnius" at the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs (NZIIA). He presented Lithuania's foreign policy priorities, achievements and challenges, security situation in the region, gave an overview of Lithuania's activities in international organizations and economic diplomacy, and answered many questions from participants.
The New Zealand Institute of International Affairs (NZIIA) is an independent, non-governmental organisation that seeks to encourage an understanding of the importance of global affairs to the political and economic well-being of New Zealand.
NZIIA fosters wider understanding of international issues, trading partnerships and relationships with other countries.
This was the first lecture about Lithuania at the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs.
