Ambassador G. Varvuolis participated in Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay in Yaotsu

Ambassador of Lithuania in Japan Gediminas Varvuolis participated in Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay in Yaotsu Town. He is the only Lithuanian representative to carry the Olympic torch in this relay. The Olympic Torch Relay started on March 25 in Fukushima and will last for four months until the opening of the Olympic Games on July 23.

Yaotsu town in Gifu Prefecture, where Ch. Sugihara was born, has close cooperation and friendship links with Lithuania and partnership with Kaunas.
