Ambassador Aurelijus Zykas live broadcast on Asahi TV
On September 20, Ambassador Aurelijus Zykas took part in live broadcast program “Wide Scramble” on the Japanese TV Asahi.
He had an opportunity to share insights in Japanese with the nation-wide audience, offering an in-depth Lithuanian perspective on the ongoing brutal Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, its regional and global security implications and the strong global partnerships forged to counter the aggressor, protect rule of law, and safeguard our rules-based international order:
“We are proud to stand together with Japan that is so actively engaged in supporting Ukraine in countering the aggressor. We are inspired by your firm stance on the global arena, including closer the partnership with NATO, thus reconfirming indivisibility of our global security,” Ambassador noted.
Topics pertaining to Lithuania's economic and energy independence, as well as bilateral dialogue between Lithuania and Japan as new strategic partners we also under discussion.
