Ambassador A. Zykas visited Gifu Prefecture

On August 23, Ambassador Aurelijus Zykas visited Gifu Prefecture.
The long-term relations between Lithuania and Gifu prefecture have been further strengthened through food diplomacy. A new version of the popular Japanese confectionery "Piyorin" has been released, which uses honey from Lithuania and Yaotsu. This product was made available during the month of August. Ambassador took part in a press conference in Gifu and explained that Lithuanian honey has been imported to Japan through several companies in Gifu for almost five years, and Piyorin's amazing action is a great example of the relationship between the two countries.
