Ambassador A. Zykas visited an international village in Nishiaizu

On August 20, Ambassador of Lithuania to Japan Aurelijus Zykas visited the town of Nishiaizu in Fukushima Prefecture.
This town has been developing relations with Lithuania for 20 years, inviting Lithuanian artists and cultural exchanges. Ambassador visited the international art village of Nishiaizu and met with local buckwheat producers. During the meeting with the mayor, he expressed his desire for further cooperation and new international projects.
Sumiko Ando, an active member of JALFA (Japan Lithuania Friendship Association), who supports most of the Lithuania-related projects in Nishiaizu, initiated and contributed to the organization of the visit.
