Acquaintance with Importers of Lithuanian Textile Products
On 23 January at the Embassy Lithuanian Chargé d’Affaires Albertas Algirdas Dambrauskas had a meeting with the executives of Oku.Ltd. Mr. Okuno Masatochi and Mrs. Okuno Kishiko. This Japanese company has a several years’ partnership with some Lithuanian textile enterprises, from which they buy linen fabrics and garments made of linen. According to the representatives of the company, Japanese became fond of Lithuanian products due to their natural fabric, diversity of models and good quality. They emphasized that Oku.lt customers not simply purchase products but also learn something about Lithuania which is still unfamiliar for many Japanese.
The mentioned Japanese company intends to import more of Lithuanian linen goods and is interested in expanding their assortment. Therefore Head of Lithuanian Embassy in Japan have given them some useful advises on how to find new export partners in Lithuania.
