A letter of intent was signed between Lithuania and Japan on the implementation of joint research projects

On April 1, 2021, Minister of Health Mr. Arūnas Dulkys together with the President of the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED) Mr. Yoshinao Mishima signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the implementation of joint research projects during a remote conference. After the signing, the meeting was attended by Ambassador of Lithuania to Japan Mr. Gediminas Varvuolis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Egidijus Meilūnas and Deputy Minister of Health Ms. Danguolė Jankauskienė, and Ambassador of Japan to Lithuania Mr. Shiro Yamasaki.
