30th anniversary of re-establishment of Lithuanian-Japanese diplomatic relations.

On October 10, 2021 we celebrate the 30th anniversary of re-establishment of Lithuanian-Japanese diplomatic relations.

Thirty year ago this historic decision on behalf of the Japanese Government was conveyed in a letter signed by Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Taro Nakayama, addressed to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Algirdas Saudargas.

The Lithuanian-Japanese diplomatic relations date back to 1922.
