19 May, Europa House Open Day

The Delegation of the European Union to Japan is the diplomatic representation of the EU in this country. After having been located in the bancho area of Chiyoda-ku since 1974 the Delegation moved into a brand new, purpose-built "Europa House" in Minami-Azabu last August. For the first time, the new premises will be opened to the general public during the "Europa House Open Day". On the day, various EU diplomats and local staff will be present to receive visitors and explain the features of the new building against the background of the relationship between the European Union and Japan. Also, throughout the Open Day, cultural performances by artists from several EU member states will take place in the Europa House auditorium.
