Consular mission visit to Australia and New Zealand (Attention: the place of consular mission in Auckland has been changed)
Lithuanian Embassy in Japan is organising a consular mission to Sydney and Auckland on November 9-14, 2017.
Embassy‘s consular officer will accept applications for Lithuanian passport renewal and issuance, forms for registering birth and marriage concluded abroad, declarations of the place of residence, documents for issuance of Repatriation certificates, Consular certificates as well as consular registration applications. Persons of Lithuanian descent will be able to submit applications for the reinstatement of citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania
Persons interested in receiving the above mentioned consular services must make an appointment in advance. Applicants in Auckland should contact the Embassy by email [email protected]; for appointment in Sydney, please communicate with the Lithuanian Honorary Consul-General, Ms Ginta Viliūnas by email [email protected] or phone: (02) 99696232.
The consular mission will take place on November 9-12 at Sydney Lithuanian Club, 16-20 Meredith Street, Bankstown, NSW, 2200 (map), and on November 14 at the Sutherland Room, Sebel Hotel Quay West, 8 Albert Street, Auckland (map).
The required consular fee will be accepted in local currency in cash only. Before the mission, the prevailing exchange rate will be applied to the fee in euros. We kindly ask that all applicants have the exact amount required.

On 14 May, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Darius Skusevičius officially opened Lithuania‘s Honorary Consulate in Gifu, Japan.
On 11 April, the Ambassador of Lithuania Gediminas Varvuolis presented his credentials to the Governor-General of New Zealand Patsy Reddy.
Lithuanian Embassy in Japan is organising a consular mission to Melbourne (Australia) on April 26 – 30, 2018.
“The achievements of Lithuanian scientists in the fields of life sciences and lasers are known and appreciated in the world. Hopefully, with representatives of the Lithuanian Laser and Engineering Technologies cluster (LITEK) we can not only introduce them in New Zealand, but also establish new partnerships,” said the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Darius Skusevičius, who met with New Zealand’s Foreign Affairs Under-Secretary Fletcher Tabuteau and the Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Jeff Langley on 12 February in Wellington.
